We cannot live in a house in the sky as same as we cannot eat a pie in the sky. Therefore, the role of building material　and　production engineering is to realize building design in reality. Especially, concrete　and　rebar, which can be freely transformed,　and　wood as a natural material should carefully be managed in the production process　and　the construction site. In addition, the maintenance of these materials has significant influence on building life span. This laboratory researches on the assessment method of liquidity of fresh concrete　and　the nondestructive inspection method for existing reinforced concrete frame.
